Description

Alastair, together with long-time collaborators Euan Drysdale (guitar/piano) and Iain Crawford (double bass), celebrates Scotland's proud fiddle tradition. Special guests include folk music legend Eddie McGuire (flute), the exuberant Ewan Robertson (whistle, piccolo, flute), Perthshire fiddle ace Pete Clark and also this year a special guest appearance from world renowned piper Rab Wallace. A stunning journey of Scottish culture and festival highlight not to be missed. ‘A must for aficionados, a primer for anyone with a notional interest in Scottish traditional music’ (Herald). ‘Spectacular in simplicity, scope and delivery’ (FolkWords.com).
