Le Monde provides a perfect setting for this intimate interpretation of one of the world's most successful artists.

Ella's voice and command of any stage may be appreciated to the level it should be...as long as the audience can hear her voice (which we heard, wonderfully, in another, separate show called 007: The voices of Bond, a wonderfully performed NightOwl Production). The musicians did their part...musically, technically. During this performance either inferior mic placement especially on the kick drum or the sound tech at the controls simply did not get the right mix for the audience. I'm certain what all the performers were hearing was mixed properly or they would have heard the same imbalance. This is a show worth enjoying and NightOwl is known for quality. This, I'm sure, had to be an off day for at least one of the crew. Had those myself a time or four over 60 years of performing.
