Description

'Life is bristling with thorns, and I know no other remedy than to cultivate one's garden' (Voltaire). 'You're allowed to put whatever you like in your blurb. It doesn't even have to describe the show' (Aaron). Born and raised in Sydney, Aaron's quickly climbed the ranks of the international comedy scene. Aaron made his mark on Australian comedy with his debut solo show in 2017 and has since toured to sold-out crowds and rave reviews, earning him the sought-after awards for Best Newcomer and Director's Choice and nomination for Best Show at Melbourne International Comedy Festival.

General venue access

  • Accessible entry: Main queue on road outside. Lift access through Pleasance Bar — ask at Box Office or bar for assistance. Performance space is on the First Floor up 20 steps on a permanent stone staircase that has handrails. Lift dimensions are 1200mm x 1200mm, max. weight 500kg. The lift can accept power wheelchairs.

  • Stairs: 11- 20
    Number of stairs is provided as guidance and is not in addition to any wheelchair access type (lift/ramp etc) stated above.

How and when to make an access booking

Our access tickets service is available to anyone who:

  • Would like to book specific accessibility services, e.g. a hearing loop, audio description headsets, captioning units, seating in relation to the location of the BSL interpreter

  • Is a wheelchair user
  • Requires a complimentary personal assistant ticket to attend a performance
