The first guy was really funny and I thought we were off to a great start. I would happily pay to see a full show of his and picked up a flyer and will see if I can fit it in.
For a show that says that it doesn’t pick on the audience last nights show didn’t do that. The 2nd guy spent the whole of his 10 minutes picking on this one family who weren’t biting back or heckling him. The daughter ended up in tears as he was picking on her dad who said they had once been on a family holiday to Bristol or something. The comedian seem to take offence at this even though he seemed to be from Bristol and laid into them for the whole of his segment. He only told one joke which wasn’t really that funny. Not sure whether he forgot the jokes he was going to tell or whether his full show is always picking on one audience member. The issue is the venue makes you fill up from the front so you can’t follow the cardinal rule of stand up of hiding in the back if you want.
The 3rd and 4th comedians were pretty decent but I had a bitter taste in my mouth which I think made them less funny that they would probably have been if we had not just had 10 minutes of nastiness. I thought they both had some decent jokes and were mainly making fun of themselves which is usually a safe bet and the audience seemed to find them at least a bit funny. Though the whole atmosphere had gone a bit flat.
The last comedian was a bit patchy he had some great jokes especially his balls ones. He warmed up and ended on a higher note that he had started. I did like the fact that he took the audience cues and morphed his jokes to suit.
A shame about the second guy as think it could have been a great show otherwise. I might go back if I could be sure that the second guy( can’t remember his name unfortunately) was definitely not going to be part of the show. Will make sure I avoid any future shows he does.

EXCELLENT - Really enjoyed all the comedians at this show. All very different but very funny. Not sure if its the same comedians each night but we saw Alistair Barrie, Ollie Horn, Michael Shafar, Njambi McGrath and Amos Gill. I intend to go and see the full shows for at least 3 of the comedians on this bill. Incredible value for only £10. Highly recommended.
