I've never seen this show live. This cast did a great job. My husband and I thought they were American (except for the zed's). The actress playing Rona Lisa was a stand out vocalist. The actor playing William Barfée had great comic timing, and we were quoting him the rest of the day. Olive also stood out, with great acting and a powerful voice, and had great chemistry with Barfée (as much as elementary school kids are expected to have).

What a fantastic show, it will make you both laugh and cry.
This absolute stellar cast will wisk you away to the Putnam annual spelling bee with a cast of unforgettable characters and songs that will make you so glad you bought a ticket.
I can't recommend this show enough, if you haven't got your ticket yet then what are you waiting for? Because if you don't go, someone else will, and that would just be sad.

What and fanstastic show! I've been on a bit of a musicals spree lately and I can honestly say that this is one of my favourites! It is so incredibly funny, but at the same time heartwarming and beautiful - I don't know how to explain it, just one of those shows that make you feel good. The cast is super talented, the music is great, the story is really compelling. It is exactly what I wanted this morning and more! Such a good representation of the Fringe in general - silly, sweet and full of potential! I love, love, love it so much and highly recommend it to everyone!

What a great show! A thought provoking story with each member of the cast beautifully delivering their own personal life struggles whilst all gunning to win the spelling bee. Funny, subtle and clever. Also, fantastic singing, on a par with theatre musicals I’ve been to! Well done guys

The best kick-off to a day at the Fringe I've ever had. Delightful. Giggled out loud throughout. Many future stars in the cast - and I saw them first here! Jealous I wasn't selected from the audience - I'd have LOVED to have been part of this happy show!

Fantastic production! A perfect blend of hillarious and heartfelt, the whole cast have pulled together a fantastic show, every character feels thought out and real, from the incredibley charming and likeable Leaf to the heartbreaking Olive. If I had to critique anything, the piano could be a bit louder to balance better against the drums and fantastic singers.
