An absolutely mesmerising watch, a great interpretation that had me captivated from the first moment! Full energy, this group of students illustrate why it's so important to visit some of the smaller venues ! It's what makes time at fringe so worth while ! Well done all !

Great moments of comedic timing and dramatic performance. Forced entertainment can leave the audience perplexed and wishing for the end of a scene, and this young theatre group certainly achieved that. Great chemistry amongst the cast.

A must see peice at the Greenside

Review of "200% and Bloody Will Be Thy End"
Today I had the pleasure of watching "200% and Bloody Will Be Thy End" at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, and I must say it was a truly unique and hilarious experience. The show is performed by a group of young actors who embody the style of Forced Entertainment, a renowned experimental theatre company known for pushing the boundaries of traditional theatre .
The actors' fresh, confident, and sincere performances were impressive, especially given their young age. Their deadpan delivery added to the comedic effect of the show, making it a joy to watch. The use of repetition was a clever device, as it subtly changed throughout the performance, keeping the audience engaged and curious.
The show's structure was cleverly designed, with a warning at the beginning that there was no end to the show, and an apology to boot. But what followed was a series of false starts, leaving the audience wondering what was scripted and what was not. This blurring of the lines between reality and performance was a hallmark of Forced Entertainment's style, and it added to the show's originality and freshness .
The physical drama and grunting were expertly interspersed with moments of reality, where the actors would break character and address the audience directly. This technique, known as "breaking the fourth wall," added to the show's comedic effect and created a sense of intimacy with the audience .
Overall, I would highly recommend "200% and Bloody Will Be Thy End" to anyone looking for a unique and hilarious theatrical experience. It's a show that will keep you laughing and guessing until the very end, and its originality and freshness make it a standout performance at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.
Rating: 5/5 stars
Recommendation: If you enjoy experimental theatre, comedy, and unique performances, then "200% and Bloody Will Be Thy End" is a must-see. Be prepared for a show that will push the boundaries of traditional theatre and leave you laughing and guessing until the very end.
