Description
An insect joke? Tick. A tartan joke? Check. A joke about giraffes in a bar? That's a tall order. Danny Matinee takes you to the grocer (who sells him a dodgy razor, bloody cheek), Nando's (with the menu on the ceiling, he needs a peri-periscope) and beyond in his new show, full of one-liners, puns, props and pictures. Suitable for all ages, especially fans of Masai Graham, Milton Jones and Tim Vine. Might include free coffee. This show is fast paced and fun, highly recommended. A really good hour of giggling and we spent the next hour trying to rem all the gags!

A fantastic way to start the day, it’s a brave man who crafts a show from a string of one liners and puns, and it’s a talented one who can hold an audience not under the influence of anything other than caffeine and croissants for 45 minutes. Cheeky and charming in his self deprecating approach, Matinee did what it said on the tin. I can utterly recommend this show for anyone who wants to lower their cortisol levels with laughter, entertain children who are bemoaning the lack of a screen or who want to make a change to their positive affirmation mantras first thing in the morning. Loved it- Sorry for the random snort somewhere between joke 57 and 73.
