There was a wide consensus in our group that this was the best show of the day for us.

This show is put on by a combination of groups from the southwest of England. The group is a chorus of about 35 singers led by two different conductors at different times. I call out the conductors, as they did a masterful job of organizing the show and in bringing out the best of the various singers.

As the title tells you, this show is both a set of a cappella renderings of the best show tunes and a kind of historical review, with samples from the Gershwin brothers from the 1930s through the golden age of musicals, the 1970s, jukebox musicals, Disney, and even Hamilton.

If you want, the conductors also do a "hands on" training at 4:00 for those who wonder what it would be like to sing in the chorus of a West End/Broadway show.

This is just a fun and feel-good show.

Show Choir provided the audience with a joyous hour of polished performances, and I look forward to them becoming regulars at the Fringe.
