  • Babes in arms policy: Babies do not require a ticket
  • Policy applies to: Children under 2 years

Description

When Terence Hartnett found out that his testicular cancer had spread to his lung, he got out his notebook and started writing jokes. Two years later, 1 Ball Show has been performed at New York City's Carolines on Broadway, Chicago's Lincoln Lodge and at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe for sold-out crowds. Chemo sucks and so does losing a lung, but if you can't laugh, you might as well be dead already. 'Highly recommended show!' (FringeReview.co.uk); 'Insightful, emotional and laugh-out-loud funny!' (Comedy Clubhouse).

This show was fantastic! I’ve seen it twice! It has the perfect mix of excellent comedy and meaning! It’s unlike any standup I’ve ever seen. Hilarious and heroic!! SEE THIS SHOW!!!

One of the funniest shows I’ve seen at the fringe. Right away he gets you to buckle up for this story. I’m sure most comics want you to just tell them they are funny but damn it he made me cry too.

Testicular cancer followed by testicle removal, lung cancer followed by lung removal. Really well delivered, very compelling listening, funny in places, frightening and moving in others. So pleased that I saw this.

3 Sentence Review:

1. The 1 Ball show is a 1-man comedy show based on the performer’s personal battle with testicular cancer; a battle that’s left @TerenceHartnet short a ball and a lung — yikes!

2. Somehow Terence makes his cancer tragedy one of the funniest and most moving 1-man shows I’ve ever seen.

3. I left wanting to grab a pint with Terence (this is my highest form of praise)
