Performance starts in Makars' Court, and moves on to a number of courts and closes around the Royal Mile, not all of which are accessible to wheelchair users. Makars' Court has level (sloping/ramped) access via Lady Stair's close from the Lawnmarket). Alternative access from North Bank Street, up 26 steps. Accessible entry: The performance starts in Makars' Court (public courtyard between Lawnmarket and North Bank Street) and moves on to a number of courts and closes around the Royal Mile. Makars' Court is accessible to wheelchair users, but the performance will include some courts and closes which are not accessible. Enter historic and literary Makars' Court from Lawnmarket down Lady Stair's Close, or from North Bank Street via the steps next to The Makar's Rest. Meet at the lamp-post in the centre. Part of the C venues curated programme taking place at multiple locations in our 28th year at the Fringe. C venues vibrant vivacious variety. It's a Festival all of its own. Make sure you see it all.

No catering at this venue. Deacon’s House Café at C cubed, Brodies’s Close, opposite Lady Stair’s Close entrance to Makar’s Court on the Lawmarket (level access to café). Venue bar at C aquila, 2 Johnston Terrace, just along the Lawnmarket.
