Using the discography of Fleetwood Mac, X: 1969 follows the lives of the women associated with the Manson Family cult in 1960s California. Although they are at the mercy of Manson, together the girls are a murderous drug-addled machine who vow to 'never break The Chain'. Vulnerable and naive, new recruit Linda Kasabian is welcomed to the ranch, sold on the promise of a new life of fulfilment and sense of belonging. Exposed to the true nature of the cult, Linda must decide whether to testify against the only people who have shown her love.

As a fan of True Crime and of Fleetwood Mac this was a show that I couldn't miss and it didn't disappoint. The cast were fantastic. I also had the pleasure of hearing them do a bit of rehearsal on the Meadows today.

Such an interesting show and talented cast/creative team- really hope it transfers to a tour or West End! One of my favourites from Edinburgh Fringe

The show fails to say anything original. The acting is not bad at all but weak musical direction doesn’t help in delivering mediocre arrangements.

Loved listening to some of my favourite tracks reimagined and performed brilliantly by a great show of talent! A impactful show, intense and emotional. The women on stage are incredibly talented and the creative team have produced a beautiful curated show. Recommending this show to everyone I know!

A must see show!! The cast shine throughout delivering incredible performances that will have you running the full gamut of emotions.
Shining a light on the Infamous Manson Girls, the story manages something quite brilliant in slowly earning your sympathy for these women while constantly challenging that same feeling by reminding you of the horrible atrocities they would go on to commit.
What's most impressive is that you will enjoy every second of this emotional rollercoaster thanks to the amazing vocal performances of clever arrangements that will satisfy and leave any fan of Fleetwood Mac or Stevie Nicks wanting more.
This is absolutely a show not to be missed!

This show is outstanding. Each character is portrayed at such an in-depth level that you can really feel what they are all going through individually, setting up perfectly for the moments where they come together which are so powerful it really moved me. Harmonies are absolutely stunning! Fleetwood Mac was the perfect music choice for this show as it enhances the witchy/cult feel of the entire show. If you’re a fan of musical theatre, true crime and Fleetwood Mac then go see this show!

This show is absolutely incredible. It perfectly portrays the trials and tribulations of each cult member and the terrifying hold Manson had over each of them. The vocals are phenomenal and the emotion you can feel from the cast is raw and, at times, unnerving. The cast and creatives should be incredibly proud of what they have achieved, and I’d recommend the show to anyone with an interest in musicals, true crime and Fleetwood Mac.

Raw, real, and bursting with talent, and the show’s intimate setup adds to the experience. The voices are electric and the storytelling fast-paced and exciting. Perfect for any fans of MT, true crime, Fleetwood Mac, or just for a show exploring these realms of human emotion and experience.
