Description

Inspired by tales of Sir Lancelot and Robin Hood, plucky heroine Will Tell disguises herself as a knight and rides off on a chivalric quest to rescue her freedom-fighting dad from Baron Boris's deepest darkest dungeon. Will knows how to stand up to tyrants but nothing has prepared her for when Boris's daughter Edeltraut falls madly in love with her and wants to be rescued too. Madcap physical comedy with capers around castles, damsels in distress, a jaw-dropping joust and lots of original catchy musical numbers.

Great, laugh out loud show that appeals to children of all ages- mums and dads too. The two performers throw everything to their story telling, aided by a great set and fantastic costumes. Don't miss it!!!

This a great family show: energetic, pacey with plenty of opportunity to join in and let off steam.

The Scotsman (3/5 stars) 43 days ago

With songs, audience participation, inventive use of set and costume, a donkey made from a bicycle and some good old panto humour, it’s a show which the right audience needs to discover fast.

Edinburgh Life with Kids 43 days ago

There were plenty of laughs throughout the performance for both children and adults alike with a healthy dose of slapstick alongside more grown-up references to current affairs.

“An August without Theatre Fideri Fidera would be like the Edinburgh Tattoo without bagpipes.”

Fairy Powered Productions (5/5 stars) 48 days ago

This is a lovely feel good tale for children, with multiple life lessons that girls can do anything, its okay for Edeltraut to fall in love with Wilhelmina and that good will always conquer evil.
