Description

A true story set in a small town in Ireland between 1899 and 1916. A story of love, life war and tragedy. A riveting and shocking true story. Little is known of the men from Ireland who went to the Western Front in 1914 to fight for Britain. Less still of the women left behind. This play, a true story, sheds light on an often airbrushed aspect of Ireland's history. A play about ordinary men and women and their extraordinary lives.
