Description

This is a collaborative devised piece exploring Manchester’s history of clubbing and music. We explore what this culture meant to young people in Manchester in the past, and what it means to people today. The show is multidisciplinary and represents a diversity of voices by exploring queer nightlife in Manchester, being a woman DJ in a predominantly male-dominated scene, as well as exploring issues of respecting female and non-binary bodies on a night out. It also explores the psychology that accompanies a night out and identifying your tribe and finding community.
