Description
When Edinburgh's iconic One o'Clock Gun is stolen by shady Glaswegians only our hero Morningside Malcolm, quiet resident of the douce suburbs, can prevent strife and aggro between Scotland's two biggest cities. Robin Cairns, switching swiftly between a clutch of comedy characters, delivers a riotous tale playing on the ancient, fairly friendly rivalry between Edinburgh and Glasgow. Meet Morningside Malcolm and his lovely daughter Jennifer – who has married Brian, a hapless Ned who is also the son of the fearsome Weegie gangster, Big Urqy. 'A wee gem of a show!'
