Responding to Samuel Beckett's Waiting for Godot, this newly written play explores the absurdity that is a life in education. It considers the tensions found in education between preparing for the big events that define the educational process and valuing the small moments of everyday life that truly are perhaps the richest part of the whole process. Are these too often forgotten? Should all life be focused on exams and inspection? Whether you are a student, teacher or pupil, are you simply spending too much time Waiting for Ofsted?
