Description

'Absolutely stunning, stylish, eccentric, confident and honest' (NODA.org.uk). Virginia Woolf meets fellow author Vita Sackville-West in London in the 1920s. They embark on a 20-year relationship that inspires one of Virginia's most famous novels, Orlando. Abridged from the original play by Eileen Atkins, Vita and Virginia deftly brings to life the real letters and diaries of the two women, revealing deep friendship, wit and passion between the literary genius and the aristocratic yet middle-brow poet.

A nice piece of theatre. The two performers create a real tension with their portrayal of the relationship. If you like good theatre with an historical bent then try to see this

We really enjoyed this performance .... an absolute joy to hear the words from their diaries and papers brought to life by these two excellent actors. Fascinating but also a captivating, lively and poignant  performance; thank you!

Wonderfully acted. Absorbing, touching and humerous by turn. We all really enjoyed this coming at it with no previous exposure to the story. Thoroughly recommend seeing this performance.

This is a real must for your Fringe experience. Two wonderful actors take on the characters of Vita Sackville-West and Virginia Woolf through their letters. Theirs was an intense and all consuming passion and the loving care they took in writing to each other is the key to their relationship.
The acting is top drawer and a real must for your Fringe!
