This was lovely, heart warming and engaging with great music. Whilst billed as a family show, we were four 30 something people with no kids and we all loved it.

A production for all ages. Warm, entertaining and imaginative. A little bit magical and endearing characters.

You'll leave with a smile.

My 10-year-old daughter (who has read all the 'How to train your dragon' books - some common themes here) and I both really enjoyed the show. It was full of imagination and humour (jokes for adults and children alike). We were impressed by how the cast could do so much with no set and minimal props, only a few hats and beards. They were great singers and polished performers. Thoroughly recommended.

An adventure story fuelled by wit and wonder. Charmingly pitched at the youngest (as well as the older) audience members, this was great fun performed by a confident and charismatic cast. Delightful and well worth a watch.

Heartwarming, touching, funny show full of songs and storytelling. Completely absorbing for both adults and children alike! The passion of the actors shines through and you can’t help smiling with joy throughout. So cleverly constructed and definitely worth seeing before this company go on to conquer the theatre world!

What an incredible show. Captivating, funny, heart warming and sensitive. This show is for one and all at the fringe and if you haven't seen it yet you truly are missing out.

Is it a children's show, a saga, a musical or a comedy? It's a bit of all of those things, and hugely entertaining- everyone from a 4 year old who likes stories to an adult would probably enjoy it. My 8 year old loved it, but I noticed quite a bit of the audience seemed to consist of young adults without children. Great characters in the story, enthusiastic and talented cast, great fun.

In an audience of all ages it was quite remarkable to see a show so entertaining for everyone. The story was engaging, the characters are lovely and the writing very witty. Who ever wrote this managed to keep it completely clean and without innuendo whilst not patronising the children.... it was just children’s entertainment as it should be and well performed by all. I’m so glad we went and highly recommend.

(Just a tip for next years troop.... a title beginning with “V” puts you on the penultimate listings page for children’s shows, I’d go with “A” or “B”).

Such a great and exciting show where the storytelling and humor was fresh and understood by all ages. The cast members made it even more enjoyable by the energy each shared with each other in making the story flow so seamlessly. Would (and have) suggested it to many others.

Best show yet! A massive dollop of heartwarming wholesome-ness for all ages. Extraordinarily well designed in all respects: undeniably funny, carries some powerful messages and flexes some serious musical muscles. Top notch, good job!

Awesome production, great humour, wonderful quirky and although listed as a children's show it is very much suited to all ages. Great music, singing, jokes. There is a real warmth and honesty to the show, which tells a good story with important messages. Would make an excellent children's book and TV series, can't wait doe the follow up?!

Such a genuine and lovely show, all the kids were having a wonderful time, and the adults too!! Excellent story telling, charming characters, and fantastic original songs that you just want to sing along with. Came out with my heart feeling warmed. Highly recommend!

It is a wonderfully heartwarming and witty show, which leaves audience members of any age feeling warm and fuzzy inside. Every cast member shines, both in solo and ensemble work, and the beautiful music ties it all together, creating something very special.

Would recommend it to anyone!

This is wonderful, charming tale of how a Viking son Ragnar Ragnarrson travels through fjords and mountains as he attempts to gain his wings.

Intrepid Fools opt for simplicity with VIKING. It is a basic set up with few props and limited costumes, but plenty of creative spark. The audience are encouraged to fill in the gaps and let their creativity run riot throughout an unspectacular but adoring performance. Hoping to become the local...
