Description

Blackflowersstudio gallery presents drawings, paintings and sculpture from I Jordan’s early 'Crow' series. Influenced by the faerie realm in Scottish culture, poetry and more besides, this art is an exciting and sometimes raw fusion of imagination and life. The crow, archaic and modern, gloriously clever, ingenious earthen bird that struts and caws, inhabits graveyards and all pockets of our world. In many cultures, the crow is embedded in our awareness of mortality, reminding us of the dance of life and death. This small, intimate exhibition offers opportunity for a truly personal experience.
