Description
Lured into metaphorical deep water by a mixture of intrigue and desire, a bewildered Emory Holdridge grapples with life on the remote but stunningly beautiful West Coast of Scotland. A funny and heart-warming tale set in the natural world. Uisge, meaning water in Gaelic, is the origin of the word whisky, derived from the full phrase 'uisge-beatha' meaning 'water of life'. Water in all its many forms: snow, sea, whisky, is a recurring theme in the play. At once a friend and a foe, water is life... and death. Please note that while all media gallery content is provided by verified members of the event, the Edinburgh Festival Fringe Society does not review or approve this content before it is posted.
