Description

She doesn't trust him. Not after Barbados, anyway. Five friends travel to a country estate for a birthday party turned surprise wedding. Everyone's in love with everyone, and everyone hates everyone. But desire and violence are two sides of the same coin, as they learn throughout the fated, whiskey-drenched night. Debauchery is expected, but what isn't is for the blushing young bride to turn up dead. Who killed her? Maybe we all did. Trust is a dark comedic indictment of privilege in a world where consequences don't exist for those who can write a big enough cheque.

This show is truly captivating, I was gripped from beginning to end, desperate to pick up on every intricacy of each character and thrilled with each flashback and what it would reveal. The compelling acting paired with the intrigue of each scene paired together, topped with clever staging and production value made for a great overall experience - my attention did not waver for a second.

An edgy, gripping play - not a comfortable watch, but a really impressive young cast playing five less-than-likeable characters with total enthusiasm and conviction. Some stars of the future here.

Brilliant performance by a wonderful ensemble of classically trained actors. The storyline will keep you in the edge of your seat. You will never guess the ending. Bravo!

Well plotted & acted. So much so that I really disliked the characters I was supposed to dislike! Quite revoltingly shallow & vulgar. Yuk!

I'm sure the performers are all lovely people in real life! Good show, well worth the time seeing.

Trust is incredible; it is funny, it is dramatic, it is intelligent. Great cast, brilliant dialogue – can only recommend!

'Trust' is such a gripping play with excellent acting that keeps you well and truly hooked for the hour duration. The premise is super intruiging and it definitely lives up to that expectation.

The performance I saw didn't exactly go off without a hitch, but I was SO impressed with the young cast, who didn't break character for a moment and showed their true professionalism. Well done to all involved.

I came along with my sister. We were captivated from the start. Tense drama which had us thinking for days afterwards.

"Trust" is a captivating show that my family and I thoroughly enjoyed. The characters' complex relationships, fuelled by both love and hatred, make for a fascinating narrative. Its a must-watch for anyone seeking a thrilling yet thought-provoking show with some wonderful comedy. My children and the Mrs absolutely loved it, wonderful work you guys !!

Incredibly tight, beautifully written script acted out by an immensely talented cast of actors. An emotional whirlwind that’ll leave you breathless by the end.

Intriguing premise (and great title). It’s a lot of plot packed into an hour, though, and the ending seemed abrupt. See if it you’d like a sort of mystery with a dash of social critique
