Description

Trio Mágico is Paul Harrison (piano), Mario Lima Caribé (double bass), Stu Brown (drums/percussion): three leading lights of the UK jazz scene brought together by their passion for exploring diverse, joyful, unique Brazilian music. They have a special rapport from years performing together in Scotland and internationally. They'll shine new light on a small part of the country's music, highlighting Antonio Carlos Jobim and Egberto Gismonti. Infectious rhythms of the world are translated into vessels for inspiring jazz improvisation; sometimes romantic and film-score like, at others introspective yet optimistic.
