Description

The Tragedy That Befalls The Dastardly Crew of The Kakapo is an original theatrical work written and produced by The Dead Parrot Collective, 2022. It is a tongue-in-cheek farce and a laugh-a-minute comedy dissecting the well-trodden tropes of pirate fiction. Goofy characters who face real consequences for their actions on their latest light-hearted adventure. A play full of ridiculous antics, a dysfunctional but loveable crew, sea shanties, ship-to-ship combat, naval expertise, pirate artefacts, a feared Sea King and a parrot who may or may not die.
