Description

An exciting new version of Miles Tredinnick's original 1999 show. Dark, at times disturbing but always funny, this is the story of Sandie, an eccentric tour guide, emotional issues and and a wayward husband who may, or may not, come to a sticky end! The musical is set and takes place on an open-top, double-decker vintage bus taking you on a tour of London... in Edinburgh! Crazy! Jump on board and hold on tight!

We hopped on board big bus Betty at Edinburgh Fringe to see Topless : The One Woman Musical and on top deck we were welcomed by tour guide Sandie whom starts off as a rather cool but funny and quirky tour guide with a broad Liverpool accent as she talks about destinations and famous London landmarks and quickly turns to her relationship with her man which gets really funny indeed and then she starts singing some great songs that truly work within the show and she has a great voice that works with the music and when she goes acapella, it's funny when props are added in too, so we won't give too much away except this is a great show not to be missed and one to watch before the Fringe ends as you will be highly entertained on top of the topless tour bus can't beat that
Highly Recommended

AMAZING Show. Best Tour bus in Edinburgh with the fantastic Tour Guide Sandie who is full of interesting information about the tour and her personal life too.

Brilliant, hilarious fun. The whole show was high energy, high excitement as Sandie (played by Holly Lovelady) trauma dumped her comically tragic love life amid a strangely informative tour of London.... while stationary..... and in Edinburgh! Beautifully sung and well acted, Holly makes this an unmissable hour, no matter the weather!

My friends watched a preview of this show in Kendal, and it was awesome, so much so a larger group have now booked to watch at the Fringe later this month. Holly who plays Sandie is so talented - great singing, acting, creativity and fun. Defo recommend you watch this if visiting the Fringe.

We were on a topless bus, on a tour of London, with Sandie the liverpudlian tour guide and hard done by wife. Great story telling, wonderful singing voice, lively acting. Just sublime! Don't miss it - and pray that your weather was as good as ours was!
