Description
Kicked out of opera school for being too much of a prima donna, Tony Pasquier took to earning his living as a singer-cum-comedian. Amongst others he's played cruise ships, holiday camps and nightclubs. He speaks of his many (usually failed) romances. One incident that still rankles concerns his archrival Brian Cleethorpes ('the man with a voice to move millions') who stole his girl – or did he? In this show Tony comes full circle, revisiting his love of opera and trying to make sense of the rollercoaster his career has been. Please note that while all media gallery content is provided by verified members of the event, the Edinburgh Festival Fringe Society does not review or approve this content before it is posted. I should've looked more into it , as I thought I was going to a cabaret act . At first I was wondering what was going on , but to be fair to the act , he put on a good show , in essence telling a story of his alter ego's life . Cannot fault the energy he put into his performance , if I knew what it was , I wouldn't have went , but we discussed it after the show, and I'm actually glad I saw it , because we saw a man living out his dream of performing I think and that's all that matters . 55 minutes well spent , and William took the time at the end to explain it all.
