Description
Tony Law identifies as a hominid. Homo sapiens, Neanderthal, Indo-European horse tribesman, an Englishman, a Canadian, a Norn Iron man and a Trinidadian and a Tobagonian. A dog, a dog owner, owned by a dog, a surrealist, an absurdist and an artist who is comedy of person. A parent, a thrower, a catcher, a reader and a farmer. His 16th show is turning out to be his best yet. For connoisseurs of comedy who have seen it all and are funny in their own bones. Top drawer Tony. Comedian's comedian comedian for the comedy nerd. Please note that while all media gallery content is provided by verified members of the event, the Edinburgh Festival Fringe Society does not review or approve this content before it is posted. Second time I've seen him and as mad as both times. The new sober Tony is still superbly anarchic but not totally random. No politics or any stuff like that just great fun and weirdness and as usual a show stealing spot with his son.

Possibly the most laughs you can cram into an hour, but without any actual jukes! Welcome to the genius, rollercoaster world of Tony Law!

I love Tony Law's comedy stylings and I loved this show. I laughed and laughed and laughed some more (and he doesn't avoid doing the odd thinky bit too, that actually makes me stop and think about things too). It's a great way to spend your noontime.

Another great show from Tony Law, we love him, we’ve seen him live for probably all 9 years we’ve attended the Fringe since 2011 - maybe one year off for Tony? (plus my two previous Dinks viewings). This was up there with his good to great shows, solid 4/5 star for me.
This show, Identifies, takes us from a Russian steamboat tour with Sergeys (and two Vlads), via Trinidad and Tobago, via a 1980s Soviet Union / Canada student exchange, via a London flat with a German shepherd and a rabbit, Yorkshire, the woods of Wales all in Tony's brilliantly absurd manner. The cameo guest act was a really treat with a classic alternative pop anthem.
Monkey Barrel 3, the venue is great, perfect for comedy, good setup, cooler than other rooms, good beers from a small bar. Perfect for the Fringe.
