Description

Melbourne International Comedy Festival: 2017 Best Show nominee and 2016 Best Newcomer winner. Award-winning-and-losing comedian Tom Walker returns to Edinburgh and this year, he's talking very little and moving very lot. Last year this trained clown taught himself to code gloriously stupid video games. This year – listen, I like you, I'll come out and use the dirty word: this is a mime show. Don't freak out. He talks during it, so it's chill, and it's ever so good. 'A gloriously, relentlessly, irrepressibly unhinged blast of off-the-wall insanity' ****½ (Chortle.co.uk). Directed by Zoe Coombs.

Very very brilliant. Captivating silliness with a performer who is effortlessly in control of what he’s doing. The laughter was so plentiful during one moment the room went silent as we all collectively took and intake of breath we were laughing that long.

Great show, even at a preview night! Got a huge round of applause with hands held high! Very funny and highly creative, it's a series of mime sketches / scenes with talking in-between. Imagine putting The Pajama Men, some high-caffeine drinks and a splash of darkness in a blender and you'd probably get Tom's new show! :-D

The Wee Review (4/5 stars) 28 days ago

As Tom Walker points out during the first few minutes of his Fringe show, Very Very, there are few genres hated more than that dreaded four-letter word – mime. With this unassailable fact in mind, it seems like a bold choice to base your entire performance around that very art...

Pity Tom Walker’s grey T-shirt. Over the course of this exhilarating, unstoppably funny hour of mime, the garment becomes sodden with Walker’s sweat, so much so that patting his chest towards the end of the show causes a miniature rain shower. This level of effort, thankfully, is not for nothing,...
