Performing nerd Tom Crosbie may not have the answers to any global issues, but, for an hour, he transports you to his land of whimsy, where his concentrated nerdistry reduces life's little worries to mere homoeopathic levels. If the world's questions can be answered as easily as his Rubik's Cubes, then maybe the time spent learning fun facts was worth it all along. Tom wears his heart on his sleeve and a cardigan on his chest, dazzling you with an array of feats while teaching you all about life, the universe and... Scrabble?

Loved this show, as did the kids. Family friendly, amazing Rubik’s skills and a brilliant finale.

Simply great, you would think that the likes of Scrabble and Rubik's Cube are not enough for a show but Tom proves they make for extremely entertaining material, and you will be amazed with what he does! He says he is not a magician but this show was truly magic in every way! One of THE Must see shows!

Wallis K. 112 days ago

The only problem with this show is that, because it so outshines the other performances I've seen, the Fringe is all downhill from here.
Well worth it. Simply phenomenal!

Wow Tom that was amazing
How I loved all those perfect random facts which are pub quiz perfect - and of course the Rubik’s cubes

Deborah 113 days ago

Super show, entertaining, funny and thoughtful. Adults and children alike enjoyed it.

So good we saw it twice! Actually we caught Tom’s show at Fringe 2018 and his was the first show we booked this year. Be amazed and amused by a phenomenal memory and more tricks with a Rubik's cube than you can ever imagine. If you don’t gasp at least 10 times during the show, you’re not paying attention. Brilliant stuff.

Tom will tell you at the beginning of the show that he is NOT a magician. And he's not. Yet he's crafted a show that is both mystifying and amazing. Also awesome fun. And you can tell by how comfortable he is from the moment he takes the stage that he's a seasoned pro.

Brilliant, how does he do it? A different show and totally engaging.

Genuine heart-warming, inspiring, awesome show.

Look, you already know if you're going to enjoy this. If you think you even vaguely fit the target audience then do yourself a favour and see it. Tom's performance is excellent and there is plenty to keep up the fun and amazement throughout.

Fantastic show, absolutely brilliant, Tom gets better every year.

Amazing show! We were stopped in the street by two young festival promoters and they recommended this show (because our son had a rubik’s cube in his hand). It was a massive stroke of luck because we had a marvellous time. Tom has mind blowing cubing skills and an amazing memory alongside being very funny! Suitable for all ages. 100% would watch again!

Honestly one of the best shows I've seen, not just this year but this decade. Intelligent, witty and charming he was the highlight of our fringe.

Whilst rushing into the Gilded Balloon to use the facilities, I had a leaflet thrust into my face and someone said ‘What are you doing in the next 2 minutes?’

‘Well, errr’...however, 4 minutes later, we were sat there watching Tom Crosbie. What a blessing we were met with that young ladies proactivity on the way in. The show was amazing! Tom is funny, warm, a great story teller and extremely talented. We were all in awe when we left. Go see him, you won’t be disappointed.

It is magic tricks or is it real stuff by a super-brained nerd? We couldn't tell. Very fun!

This show is brilliant. 5 stars. Great for our teenagers and great for us. And we’re not just saying this because it was our son playing the computer game. And winning a tee shirt. Lots of laughs, lots of fascinating thoughts, great tricks. Uniquely wonderful.

Nothing booked so looked around for inspiration.... and found it.

You know that feeling when you have no expectations and you're blown way?

Don't want to give any spoilers away, but Tom, I've added you to my 'must see every year' list.

Simply stunning.

Very entertaining hour and certainly a one-of-a-kind show!

Tom is witty, knowledgable and charming, and keeps the best for the last!

I didn't think this would be my sort of thing, but as soon as we arrived and saw the audience playing a computer game on the large screen, to kick off the show - I knew we'd made the right choice!
Tom is so endearing, and clearly incredibly talented
Frank Skinner was in the audience and looked as though he loved it - so Tom is definitely getting it right!!
The reveal at the end is genius - still trying to figure out now how he did it...

Our whole family loved it. Here are reviews from our kids-
1. This was one of my favourite shows, I enjoyed it. I think the interaction with the audience was cool, to show that all of the tricks weren't already planned out. My favourite part of the show was the Xxx (no spoilers!) because that was a big surprise- no one saw that coming!
2. I really liked this show, it was very impressive and he is really talented and fun to watch. He is funny and also interacts with his audience which is really important and great. I would really recommend this show.

This is an impressive show and highly recommended. Tom demonstrates live some gob-smacking skills. His extraordinary abilities, humour and show skills makes his show very unique. I still can't believe all I've seen in one hour!

Amazing show. So impressive, I had a slack jawed grin the whole way through. Very funny as well. Five stars.

Tom is a really engaging entertainer, what he doesn't know about Rubik's cubes and Scrabble isn't worth knowing. Great show, great guy, five stars.

Sheila Pankhurst 130 days ago

Five stars to Tom Crosbie! What a great show - funny, very clever, not quite like anything else at the Fringe and hugely engaging. Gentle self-deprecating humour, a quick wit and an extraordinary talent with numbers, words and Rubik’s cubes. I would happily see this again.

The primarily youthful and trendy audience really enjoyed this show, as did I. Nerds seem to be popular again and Tom is certainly doing his bit. Highly recommended, even if it’s only so you can try and survive Tom’s game.

Tom Crosbie presents an hour that's all about misdirection – and packed full of it. Not only in the skills, facts and tricks on display, but also in the show’s constant vein of family-friendly humour. His Derren-Brown-meets-stand-up style patter makes for an impressive, entertaining act that elicits genuinely big laughs to match...
