First time seeing Tom love and it was terrific. I've heard him on various podcasts for years but the energy he brought to the live show was unexpected and amazing. One thing I liked was him taking time out of his set to engage with audience members, trying to tease of why they did or did not like a joke, or find out a bit of their background so he could better target his material. It's a sign a good comedian that they are able to do this and not lose the momentum of the show. Looking forward to seeing him again.

Super energetic, thoughtful, consistently hilarious and hich-octane. Tom absolutely killed it with the crowd tonight I thought. Highly recommend

The Scotsman (4/5 stars) 50 days ago

A splenetically funny dispatch from the colonies, Australian Tom Ballard's first Fringe show since 2019 is a furiously republican, uninhibited tirade at the late Queen Elizabeth II and plenty more besides.

Ballard is at his best on one of his characteristic rants, and when he builds momentum (and volume), he’s unstoppable.
