Description

For as long as there has been the fairytale Princess, there has been the fairytale Prince. But, this Prince feels like he hasn’t been getting the attention he deserves. Never getting the fun songs like the Princess, villain or quirky sidekick. Never being in the title of the films (unless, of course, he is). Never feeling like his wishes come true. Follow The Prince on his journey as he sings his very own songs and rants about what his life could be. Before maybe realising that his place in the story isn’t so bad after all.

Great songs sung by a man with the powerhouse vocals befitting a prince.

A really enjoyable 45 minutes, with catchy and witty songs suplimenting the unique and clever premise. A really strong example of an original idea executed in an entertaining fashion without the need of much more than the performer.

Really fun one man show/musical. Original songs with a fun enjoyable premise. And Tom Rolph has an excellent voice to carry the muck. Would definitely recommend.

On one level this is cute and amusing and it enthralled my 4 year old. My 13 year old was able to see the subtext about modern masculinity and really enjoyed it on a completely different level. A great way to start a fringe day.

This show was an absolute delight and such an uplifting way to start the day. It evoked such happy memories of watching Disney animations when we were a young family whilst also being its own unique, very well crafted and wonderfully performed musical experience. Please go and see this if you harbour a current or nostalgic love for this genre, it will not disappoint. A (very genuine) 5 stars

A delightful start to the day. Clever Disney parody songs and a performer with truly magnificent, rich and powerful voice with excellent control. Tom Rolph deserves to be the (West End) leading man his character wishes to be.

I came to see this as it was by the same writing team as The Detective's Demise, my pick of the Fringe. It did not disappoint - an original one-man show lamenting the reduced role of the Prince in contemporary musicals. Tom Rolph was engaging throughout and I barely stopped laughing. While Tom worked well with the pre-recorded voices of the Genie and the Princesses, this has the potential to be a much larger show with a wider cast. Definitely a talent to be watched.
