Description
Acclaimed Canadian comedian J Murphy has been on some very strange dates. From everyday lies about age and marital status, to money laundering, crypto scams and an outrageous attempt to 'blow her pants off with steak', J's experienced it all. A true, tongue-in-cheek TED talk on surviving (and thriving in) the chaotic modern dating world. With a unique blend of wit and vulnerability, this is a comedic exploration of navigating the dating scene as a pansexual. If you've ever been on a bad date, this show will be 'funny, forthright and fabulous' **** (WestEndBestFriend.co.uk).Please note that while all media gallery content is provided by verified members of the event, the Edinburgh Festival Fringe Society does not review or approve this content before it is posted. This show is a light-hearted look at the world of dating in the modern world. J delivers a series of stories and anecdotes about her experience dating men and women via online platforms, and how to interpret the hilarious lies you encounter.
Very funny with plenty of laugh out loud moments. Some gentle audience engagement.

Entertaining and light hearted insight into the perils of online dating. Good audience participation with several laugh our loud moments at the truely cringe worthy things that people say in order to find a date.

Cringe. Genuinely awful...audience didn't laugh at all aside from the odd chuckle. Not sure this is funny anywhere. Real shame for the first fringe show I went to, I hope it isn't reflective of the other shows as otherwise the whole festival is a waste.
