LET Award 2019 winners and 5-star devised company presents a true tale of excitement, danger and claws. The most ferocious, unforgettable Mabel Stark – the queen of the circus in the time of the greatest show on Earth – was the only woman to step into the ring with seven tigers. The crowd loved her! The men loved her! The tigers loved her! Hear our tale of America’s bravest big cats tamer and you will see that the scars on her body were not as deep as the scars on her heart…

An enthusiastic and passionate cast. Well performed with a little audience participation. Worth every 5 stars I give them. A must see while at the fringe.

A really happy surprise: a clever, moving story about a female tiger tamer, narrated with verve, wit, and not just a few puppets. An excellent ensemble piece.

The 5 star reviews are well deserved. ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I’d give them more! It kept me gripped from the start and was funny and entertaining throughout - whilst being quite emotional at points. The set and puppetry was very clever and the whole aesthetic was beautiful. The cast and their acting was fantastic. Well done guys!! Massive round of applause. well deserved standing ovation!

Simplicity done to perfection. Had the pleasure of seeing this amazing show today, and would highly recommend it to anyone after a great show filled with humour, and heart.

The play has a large scale feel, which is delivered through a simple, but effective set. With an amazing cast that bring us into the life of the circus using ladders, cloth, and a few members of the audience, you'll be in awe of the ways in which the set transforms around you.

Catch this show while you can!

Outstanding show a must see, from start to finish it was heartwarming, humerus too, the acting was again was outstanding, the way the audience were involved throughout the show was just brilliant too!
The Props and lighting really did make it all come together.

What a joy this show was. The cast’s enthusiasm and love for their show was clear to see when we met them in The Courtyard and the performance reflected that.
Thoroughly recommended.

I have not seen something which brings so much joy in a long time! This is a fantastic show - fast paced humour, heart warming and soulful music. And it looks beautiful! The stage transforms over and over again! I didn’t want it to end! This deserves large audiences - go and see

Tiger Lady is not a show that takes itself seriously, it’s goofy, silly and a lot of fun. People of all ages would enjoy the show, and I’m sure children would love seeing the animals coming to life before your eyes.

Based on the true story of turn-of-the-century circus performer and big cat trainer Mabel Stark, Tiger Lady is a warm, bittersweet and engagingly told tale.

Through song, puppetry, illusion and the tricks of the trade, Tiger Lady captures the joyous, daring, and at times fraudulent spirit of early-twentieth-century circus.
