Texas Beauty Pageant Murder: The Fall of Don Swan is a devised, one-act, absurdist, film noir comedy set in the 1980s that investigates the myth of Don Juan in the current wake of the #MeToo and #TimesUp movements. A collaboration between the theatre and music departments at Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas, it combines research (including works from Tirso de Molina, Mozart, Molière, Harvey Weinstein, Donald Trump, Bill Cosby, Shakespeare, soap operas and American sitcoms) with a Texas-size twist in order to rip apart the most ambiguous figure pertaining to masculine sexuality.
