Description

A unique showcase of highly acclaimed performances of Kunqu classics. Kunqu is one of the oldest extant forms of Chinese Opera, combining music, choreography and acrobatics. Kunqu is on the UNESCO list of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. Presented by the world-class Northern Kunqu Opera Theatre, these world-class productions of The Peony Pavilion, Hall of Eternal Life and Romance of The West Chamber will intrigue and delight audiences new to Kunqu as well as existing fans of the genre.
