Description
Inspired by Molière’s 17th-century dark comedy, Tartuffe has been rewritten for a modern audience with a feminist twist. A trendy feminist consultancy is turned upside down by the arrival of an unusual new employee. Despite his seemingly suitable credentials, the team become increasingly suspicious as his actions don’t quite match his words. Student-led, feminist theatre company Green Sun Productions brings you a piece of new writing which explores the many ways in which Molière’s world of hypocrisy, patriarchy and sexism may not be quite as far behind us as we think…Please note that while all media gallery content is provided by verified members of the event, the Edinburgh Festival Fringe Society does not review or approve this content before it is posted. This is just great fun. Moliere's classic tale of a conman par excellence is brought up to date and the excellent cast give a great account of the absurdity of human nature.
Catch if if you can. You won't be disappointed!

A very funny feminist satire featuring a rap about the clitoris that you won’t want to miss! Intelligently written, witty and unfortunately, relatable. If you know Molière’s work, you will enjoy this; if you know nothing about his work, you will also enjoy this!
