Description

When the flints of the old strike with the new, what story can be lit from the sparks? The ancient ballad of Tam Lin is reimagined in a near-future dystopian Scotland, exploring themes of bodily autonomy, reproductive rights and sexual freedom. Through original harp music, song and spoken word Kirsty Law, Kirsty Logan and Esther Swift tell a thoroughly modern story built on the bones of ancient wisdom. Originally commissioned for the Scottish International Storytelling Festival 2022.

Moving, mystical, and insightful - a thought-provoking adventure. Certainly one of the best shows this year.

A gorgeous show, one of the best things I've seen this Fringe. The performers create an incredible atmosphere, the entire room felt bewitched - they're so in sync with each other, working in perfect harmony to layer their instruments and voices together to create something beautiful and disquieting. It'll stay with me.

Beautiful! This is the kind of show that actually deserves to be described with magic-related adjectives like "enchanting" and "spell-binding".
