Description

The skill level in this sophisticated, alluring performance by the innovative, female-led Eye Catching Circus is sky-high, but spectacle isn't the top priority. Expect instead a questioning, stereotype-busting group portrait of a handful of women, all under 30 and each trying to maintain her balance in a contemporary society loaded with expectations. Sometimes competitive but often mutually supportive, they tumble, roll, contort, collapse, sashay or hang, suspended from a symbolic frame all in an effort to find their truest selves. A rite of passage and a voyage of self-discovery. European premiere.

Fantastic show -- weird, funny, sad, powerful, and beautiful. There's no particular narrative, but the performance explores themes of gender and sexuality that could be a bit much for younger viewers. I'd highly recommend this for teenagers and up -- the skill level is incredible and the performers are wonderfully expressive throughout.

A truly mesmerising show. Such talent, inventiveness and energy. There were several incredible points where the entire audience (of adults, teens and kids) gasped out loud. There didn’t seem to be a clear linear narrative to the show, but it was immersive and absorbing enough to stand without one, and each vignette was impressive in its own way. The cast took their final bow to a standing ovation and whoops of delight. Five stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Really amazing show. The cast are great at maintaining the audience’s attention and keeping you engaged throughout the sixty minute performance. Would highly recommend people to see this show, it is quite spectacular.

Wonderful performance. A youth activity coordinator sitting next to me had brought along a large group of 10-16 year olds and they all seemed to have a brilliant time. This show is captivating, daring and fun for all ages and cultures, with something for everyone. Bravo!

Right at the opening scene I was quite confused. A person shining torch on their body while touching it. Not in a sexual way but on the verge of it. This tone sadly continued throughout the show and after maybe 20minutes I decided to consult my phone and verify that this is indeed suitable for age group 8+. As a light brothel show it would pass, but even there the audience would be wondering what is it about.
I still dont know whether the other reviewers actually been to see the show, but please do not take kids. We had four age 10-16 and they all thought it was aweful. There is definitely talent and hard work behind the show, the artists themselves are highly capable, but the story line is missing. And sexualising dance/circus is so primitive. Shame

An hour of incredible acrobatics and gymnastics performed by a talented and dedicated team of professionals. Captivating displays with humor laced throughout. It was a memorable performance and it was a privilege to see it.

That was one of the best show I’ve seen in all festivals so far. Amazing skills meet phenomenal story, super recommended. It’s mesmerising from beginning to the very end.
Must see is an understatement.

Must see show! You may laugh, you may cry, you may hold your hand to your mouth in realisation as the theme of that last act fully dawn's on you. The imagery is stunning and each performer is so filled with energy and character. Go and marvel!

The physical prowess is captivating and impressive, and the moment you realize what each performance number is about, the emotion of "I've been there, I understand" hits you right in the chest. Incredibly moving as well as impressive, definitely cannot miss this show.

Beautiful, amazing and outstanding . One of the best shows I have seen in a long time. Pure artists, not only extraordinary acrobats, dancers and performers. Highly recommended!

A stunning and moving performance with its eeriness based on the real rather than the imaginary.

The extraordinary talent on display is not, however, up for debate. '#Since1994' will stick with me for a long time, and I am sure it will be one of the most remarkable things I will see at the Fringe this year.

Broadway Baby (3/5 stars) 52 days ago

Highly skilled, the choreography is tightly coordinated between them in the dance sequences, and they perform a wide variety of routines from human pyramids to flirty pop videos.
