Description
A one-woman show – with two women. A narcissistic prima donna and a crass stand-up comedian fight for center-stage in a theatre that's been double-booked. Desperate for the audience's approval, the two must attempt to share the stage and perform their magnum opus one-woman shows together. But the spirit of collaboration can only go so far… In their Fringe debut, Jo Brodecki and Fiona Collinson turn the ever-popular, one-woman show on its head with a raucous comedy where chaos is queen, the cues aren't guaranteed, and friendship is not for the faint of heart. Please note that while all media gallery content is provided by verified members of the event, the Edinburgh Festival Fringe Society does not review or approve this content before it is posted. This play was by far the best one I saw. The acting, storyline and comedy was unmatched. The story was well written and easy to understand. I was left crying with laughter in many instances. Also the play finished with an intriguing end that kept me engaged until the very end. A must see! Bravo!

Swan Song (***)
Two acting friends are scheduled for the same venue time slot, and agree to only do half of each their shows. While the concept could be interesting, the unconvincing snippets and banter just seem to fill the time, and go nowhere. In the play, they say that they are much more actors than writers, and it shows.
This is the 67th most enjoyable of the 78 shows I have seen so far at the Fringe this year. I hope to see almost 200. You may see my other three-sentence reviews, in order from most enjoyable to worst, at my non-commercial website: https://fringefan.com/

Absolutely incredible show tonight by two very talented ladies. Highly recommend. I laughed so much and it made my day. Amazing chemistry between the two and just an overall amazing show. If I could give it 11/10 I would.

Go see it! The best we’ve seen in a whistlestop 12-show trip to the Fringe from good ‘ol Yorkshire, catching all kinds of theatre this year. Boundless energy and hilariousness from these 2 incredibly talented performers. Thank you for a brilliant hour- let’s hope for a sequel show next year :)

The best show I’ve seen at the Fringe. So good I went to see it twice. The interplay and chemistry between the two actors is superb as they unwind their intertwined past. Hilarious show with an unexpected ending. Highly recommend.
