Description
'Oh, we have sharks here... but they're not in the water.’ When a wide-eyed American moves to Tel Aviv, how does she navigate the wild waters of the Middle East? She learns to surf! With colourful characters, comedy songs and one woman’s search for chutzpah, this classic fish-out-of-water tale blends big-hearted comedy, electrifying ukulele riffs and fearless physicality. A fast-paced solo show, exploring female empowerment, written and performed by Erin Hunter, one half of the award-winning comedy duo, Hunt the Vigan. ‘A truly riveting performance...' (Audience review, Brighton Fringe). 'Creative and funny and brave.' What a memorable, entertaining show. Erin is a powerhouse, the next Phoebe Waller-Bridge. We laughed, we cried and I left the theatre to seek my own life changing experience

Brilliant show. A perfectly timed and hugely entertaining biographical performance. Told with humour, great music, self deprecation and vulnerable honesty. How can comedy move you to tears. Fantastic…..don’t miss it.

Such a great show - witty, heartfelt and emotional. Erin is extremely talented and I would highly recommend. We went to a few shows today and this one was by far my favourite.

Told from the heart - an excellent tale of an unusual journey through one year of life.
