Description

Think it’s a solo stand-up show? Think again. This immersive comedy invites you on a surreal misadventure of absurdist sketch, untamed thrash metal guitar solos and imaginary costumed personas. A wild, offbeat and exciting exploration of stand-up, musical and character comedy, this one-woman show celebrates the human experience of growing up as an immigrant child of South-East Asian descent in East London. BBC New Comedy Award nominee. MCA alumni. Winner: Queerovision and Beat the Frog. ‘Su Mi is one to watch' (Josie Long). 'Hugely entertaining force' (Chortle.co.uk). General venue access

  • Accessible entry: The BlundaGarden around the BlundaBus is level access. With no steps. There is also level, step free access into our sister venue The Spiegel Yurt that are in the same area. However The BlundaBus is a converted double decker bus and the access is largely unchanged from when it was in service. A low step into the ground floor bar area and 10 steps up to the top deck. With handrails.

    • Wheelchair access type: Not fully wheelchair accessible

  • Stairs: 6 - 10
    Number of stairs is provided as guidance and is not in addition to any wheelchair access type (lift/ramp etc) stated above.

How and when to make an access booking

Our access tickets service is available to anyone who:

  • Would like to book specific accessibility services, e.g. a hearing loop, audio description headsets, captioning units, seating in relation to the location of the BSL interpreter
