Description

Stuart is terrified of the climate crisis, but no-one he knows ever mentions it, so it must be fine. Hilarious, hopeful, and vaguely educational 'expert stand-up' (Sunday Times) about hope, horror, hypocrisy and how to feel OK. As seen and heard on TBS' Conan, The Comedian's Comedian podcast, You're Dead to Me and Trusty Hogs. Winner: Best Show, Leicester Comedy Festival 2023. 'A master of the form' ***** (Independent). 'Truly a comedy masterclass, endlessly inventive' **** (List).

A very funny show; Stuart takes a difficult topic but skillfully keeps the audience with him throughout, and all credit to him for doing that.
Hugely enjoyable and thought provoking - see it before it's too late...!

Great way to generate discussions on the topic of climate change. Definitely get your money's worth - hour densely packed with jokes. Very quick off the mark with responses to audience input and reactions!

Great, hilarious show. Thought-provoking without being preachy. Highly recommend.

Thomas Hawtin 44 days ago

As always with Stuart Goldsmith, a slick hour with a high density of quality gags.

There is misrepresentation of opposing views and it is a little preachy, though not as much as you might expect at the fringe.

However, if you are onboard with Extinction Rebellion/Just Stop Oil, like agreement with your prejudices and don't mind jokes, then this is a show for you

Kevin Moss 44 days ago

Honest and clever stand up about climate change that is very relatable. Totally worth dashing over from another gig on the other side of Edinburgh just in time to make it too. 5 stars.

This is a solid 5-star show from a guy who makes it look easy. Funny, sharp and delivered with empathy and wit.

Great show. No preaching about climate change and you don’t have to be a member of extinction rebellion to enjoy the show. Very funny.

Stu previewed this show in my home county, driving several hours down to a room of 15 people and Cornish road diversions on the way back.
It was a good show then, and it's great now.
That little anecdote epitomises the show's point. It's impossible to live your life without contributing to climate change, but every little helps.

Exactly what I needed and have needed in a while- an honest and somehow fun talk about climate change with no judgment and more hope and honesty around the climate crisis than I’ve witnessed in quite a while. Stuart is great and finds a really good balance in this show on a topic you wouldn’t think would be suited to comedy.

Stu vocalised every thought, fear, bit of anger and anxiety I have about climate change and the future in a way that had me laughing my butt off the entire time. A fantastic storyteller and sharp wit.

Very entertaining yet thought provoking and interesting. Really enjoyed it. Best show I’ve seen this year

This show is in equal parts funny, charming and thought-provoking, deftly tackling a huge topic in an accessible and self-deprecating way. Bang on the nose of the zeitgeist and consistently funny - definitely one to put on your must-see list.

A really likeable comedian, bags of personality and not shy to say what we all think. The material was spot on with climate change references interdispersed with the personal challenges of trying to do the right thing. Venue was packed, which shows he has the pulling power …

Omg, this show was effing brilliant! Stuart has really good energy and charisma on stage. He's good at bringing up some of the climate crisis concerns without making you feel depressed about it, which was something I was worried about before going to the show, lol. Seriously, this was my fav show of Fringe so far!! Very clever show.
