Description

A kids party... but for adults. Soho Theatre's smash-hit musical comedy about two rival children's entertainers, starring Kiell Smith-Bynoe (Ghosts, Taskmaster, Stath Lets Flats) and Ed MacArthur (Bad Education, Dreamland, The Now Show). Think Amadeus meets Flight of the Conchords meets Dizzee Rascal; this is one party you won't want to miss. 'So ingenious, it's hard to believe it hasn't been done before' ***** (Independent). 'Quick-witted musical improvisers... there's fun aplenty' **** (Chortle.co.uk). 'Delightful' **** (Guardian).

I have never wanted to be a 6-year-old birthday girl/Russian security guard more! My friends and I loved it so much we booked immediately to see it again once we heard there was an extra date added. I hope we hear more from Mr String and MC SPITTA soon! (Would love for the songs to be released!)

When you've hundreds upon hundreds of shows vying for attention at the Festival Fringe, it takes something truly special to stand out from the crowd and make people say "You really should go and see *this* one": String V SPITTA is that show.

String V SPITTA tells the story of two rival children's entertainers who join forces to wow the crowds at a Russian oligarch's child's birthday party. Cue music, magic, audience participation, rivalry and utter fun.

By the end, I don't think there was anyone in the room not cheering and laughing, and you left knowing precisely why this is the Festival Fringe show everyone is talking about. Superb.

This was one of our spontaneous bookings and so pleased we did. The show was clever was so funny and has ended up no.1 of our list of shows seen so far in the 3/4 days we are here.

A brilliant show. Talented, funny, and surprising, it was hilarious throughout. They got me on stage and even though they said I looked like Charles Dickens they made me feel very comfortable.

Highly recommended!

All everyone wants is the chance to be 6 years old at a birthday party careering slowly but surely off the rails, right? Excellent use of the space and the audience with 2 very talented performers - even a technical hiccup was turned into a chance for extra laughs!

West End Best Friend (5/5 stars) 98 days ago

This is a brilliant, consistently impressive and increasingly funny performance. It's unpredictability makes it engaging throughout.
