Description

The Nova Scotian folk duo blend acoustic instrumentation and their signature stunning two-part harmonies to tell provocative stories, choosing modern tales of human experience, as well as ancient traditional songs as interpreted on Nova Scotian shores. David Farrell, an accomplished guitarist from Australia (whose previous life found himself opening for INXS and Canned Heat) and Janet Mills, a native Nova Scotian kitchen musician, combine forces in an interesting, contemporary folk blend. Live shows are honest, moving and humorous; connecting with audiences both musically and in their banter-filled interactions, leaving a deeply imprinted experience.

  • Accessible entry: Four steps from street to building front door. On request, a ramp is available from pavement into building entrance. Flat ground floor thereafter.

    Number of stairs is provided as guidance and is not in addition to any wheelchair access type (lift/ramp etc) stated above.

How and when to make an access booking

Our access tickets service is available to anyone who:

  • Would like to book specific accessibility services, e.g. a hearing loop, audio description headsets, captioning units, seating in relation to the location of the BSL interpreter
  • Requires extra assistance when at a venue
  • Has specific seating requirements
  • Is a wheelchair user
  • Requires a complimentary personal assistant ticket to attend a performance
