Description
Stevensongs: Stevenson meets the French touch! Setting to music some of the most beautiful poems and letters by Scottish author Robert Louis Stevenson, the French duo Fergessen, directed by Nora Granovsky, create a live synthetic-folk atmosphere, where text and music intertwine. An echo chamber for Stevenson’s words to ring both in English and in French. Here starts a sensitive journey towards inner and faraway places. 'For no man lives in the external truth among salts and acids, but in the warm, phantasmagoric chamber of his brain, with the painted windows and the storied wall' (Robert Louis Stevenson). Please note that while all media gallery content is provided by verified members of the event, the Edinburgh Festival Fringe Society does not review or approve this content before it is posted.
