Description

Come and catch up with old friends at The Steamie, a classic piece of Scottish writing by Tony Roper and popular with theatre audiences old and new. Glasgow, Hogmanay 1950, at an old public laundry house. Doreen, Magrit, Dolly and Mrs Culfeathers’ are doing the final wash of the year as they blether about the past, the future, and being pals. This amateur production by The Brunton in association with David Ross and Tommie Travers promises to bring an evening packed full of nostalgia, laughter, and heart.
