Scotland, 1918. Your mission is to prevent a ruthless network of German spies leaking state secrets to the enemy. Step into the shoes of secret agent Richard Hannay to meet contacts, seek out vital information and crack the code before time runs out. Inspired by the works of John Buchan, escape room meets theatre in this interactive adventure around the streets of Edinburgh. There is no box office at the venue, advance booking recommended, but tickets can be purchased in-person from nearby C Cubed prior to the start of the show, teams of 2-5. General venue access

  • Accessible entry: The performance starts in Makars' Court (public courtyard between Lawnmarket and North Bank Street) and moves on to a number of courts and closes around the Royal Mile. Makars' Court is accessible to wheelchair users, but the performance will include some courts and closes which are not accessible.   • Wheelchair access type: Not fully wheelchair accessible
  • Stairs: None
    Number of stairs is provided as guidance and is not in addition to any wheelchair access type (lift/ramp etc) stated above.

How and when to make an access booking

Our access tickets service is available to anyone who:

  • Would like to book specific accessibility services, e.g. a hearing loop, audio description headsets, captioning units, seating in relation to the location of the BSL interpreter
  • Requires extra assistance when at a venue
  • Has specific seating requirements
  • Is a wheelchair user
  • Requires a complimentary personal assistant ticket to attend a performance
