The role of the weather girl is one of the most iconic in the TV landscape. It's also one of the most fetishised, as Sam Fraser found out when she took a job as a standby weather presenter for regional TV. It's been a steep learning curve. Flattered by online comments about her bottom, she guiltily wonders: can you be a full-time feminist and a part-time weather girl? Sam returns to Edinburgh with her popular one-woman show. 'My forecast for your evening? Very sunny with the certainty of laughter!' (Hugh Dennis).
