Description

Rock Festival Choir, Alnwick's highly regarded chamber choir directed by Peter Brown, returns to the Fringe with a spine-tingling programme of 20th and 21st-century choral classics – Sir Michael Tippett's Spirituals, Bob Chilcott's Jazz Mass and Morten Lauridsen's Lux Aeterna. Sung in the fabulous acoustic of Canongate Kirk and Palmerston Place Church, the Spirituals, Jazz Mass and Lux Aeterna will really lift your spirit! Jazz fans in particular are in for a real treat with Chilcott's work setting the words of the mass to a toe-tapping choral delight.
