Description

Let’s face it, the 2020s started badly. Have they improved? Join comedy singer-songwriter and poet Majk Stokes, once described as 'Bill Bailey’s good-looking younger brother,' as he explores some of the issues that face us all today – social media, coffee, relationships, re-wilding, phone queues – and finds the funny side. (There is one, honest.) ‘The combined styles and wit of Bob Dylan and Tom Lehrer’ (Stage Whispers, Adelaide). ‘He has a charming, relaxed style with a dry sense of humour and his original songs are both witty and poignant’ (Robin Strapp, British Theatre Guide).

The gentlest hour of left-wing politics you're likely to find at the Fringe. Stokes is also an excellent guitarist.
