Description
A programme with Gypsy roots, including music by, among others, Haydn, Bartók, Sarasate, Doppler, Falla, Liszt, and Rimsky-Korsakov. Amazing Spanish flautist André Cebrian became the SCO’s principal flute in 2020 and since then has won the hearts of Scotland’s musical audiences. Celebrated for his beauty of tone combined with remarkable virtuosity, he offers a very eclectic programme, all based on gypsy themes from composers from Austria, Russia, Hungary, Spain and many other countries. Enjoy an afternoon of heartrending nostalgic melodies and glittering dances. Please note that while all media gallery content is provided by verified members of the event, the Edinburgh Festival Fringe Society does not review or approve this content before it is posted.
